My Story

I grew up as an Air Force kid, moving from place to place and learning early how to walk into a new room and find my footing. I lived in Germany as a child and in Australia as a young adult, and those experiences gave me something I did not fully appreciate until later: a genuine curiosity about people who see the world differently than I do and a deep understanding of what it feels like to need to belong somewhere new. I became good at finding community because I had to, and somewhere along the way creating that feeling for other people became the work I was born to do.

I have always been the person others come to with the hard stuff. That is what eventually led me to counseling, and after earning my M.A. in 2002, I spent years doing some of the most meaningful work of my life. Rooted in my faith and a deep belief in people, I walked alongside youth in crisis, teens navigating early parenthood, and women facing some of the hardest decisions of their lives. I learned how to create safety in hard moments, hold space without taking over, and trust people with their own clarity. That foundation never left me.

Eventually I made my own pivot toward coaching because I wanted to work with people who were building something and just needed someone to believe in them and help them get out of their own way. I have built things myself too, launching businesses, helping start a nonprofit from the ground up, and spending the last six years growing Holladay Coaching. I know what it feels like to carry the vision, make the hard calls, and wonder if you are doing it right. I am also a mom to two young adult daughters and a son in high school, so I understand firsthand what it means to build a life and an organization at the same time.

Today that same approach shows up in a completely different context. I work with founders, entrepreneurs, and organizational leaders who are scaling, building teams, and stepping into bigger versions of their leadership. Not because something is broken, but because growth demands more of you as a leader and having the right thinking partner in your corner changes everything. My clients do not come to me in crisis. They come to me because they are serious about where they are going and they want to get there faster, clearer, and with more confidence.

What I Believe

Leadership is a choice. Not a title, not a personality type, not something you either have or you don't. It is something you grow into when you get clear on who you are, what matters most, and how you want to show up for the people counting on you. I believe the best leaders are the ones willing to do the inner work alongside the outer work, and I believe you do not have to figure any of it out alone.

We get clear on what matters most, we look honestly at the patterns that are slowing you down, and we build momentum that actually fits your real life and the organization you are growing.
