How My Life of Transitions Helped Me Discover This…
A few months ago, while working on a presentation about how I help women navigate life transitions, I had a realization that hit me like a ton of bricks: I’ve been living in transition for most of my life.
A Life of Constant Change
Seriously, I’ve moved more times than I can count—state to state and even to a few different countries. It’s been a constant theme in my life.
I used to think my ability to support women through big life changes stemmed from my skills and personality (and hey, those help, don’t get me wrong!). I believed my training and passion for coaching equipped me to walk alongside others in their challenges.
The Realization
But here’s what I realized:
It’s not just about what I learned in school or the skills I picked up along the way. It’s about the life I’ve lived. It’s about the experiences I’ve had that shaped how I see the world—and ultimately, how I help others navigate it.
When I was younger, my family moved every few years—states, countries, houses—you name it. I had to learn to adjust, meet new people, and thrive in new situations. That kind of constant change did something to me: It made me comfortable with the uncomfortable.
Embracing the Unknown
You know what? I believe that’s why I’m able to help women so effectively today. I’ve been through it. I’ve lived the change, faced the unknown, and taken risks. I know what it’s like to step into a new season, unsure of what’s next.
Maybe you're in a season like that right now. Perhaps you're feeling uncertain, wondering how to navigate the changes in your life with confidence. If so, I get it. You’re capable of so much more than you realize.
Growing Through Change
Here’s the thing I’ve learned after years of transition:
It’s not just about surviving the changes; it’s about growing through them. That’s something I’ve been able to do, and now, it’s something I help other women do too.
So, if you’re in the middle of a transition—whether it’s a new job, a move, starting your own business, or just figuring out what’s next—take heart. You’ve got more strength, resilience, and wisdom in you than you know. Sometimes, it just takes a little reflection to see it.
Here’s to embracing change, growing through it, and finding the confidence to navigate life.
With you and for you,
Tami
P.S. If you're feeling stuck or unsure about the next steps in your transition, let’s chat. I’d love to support you in navigating it with confidence! You’ve got this, and I’m here to help. 😊
