If You Give a Solopreneur a To-Do List…
Last week, I sat down with a clear plan: send out an email, follow up on a few leads, and finish outlining a new resource I’m creating.
But five minutes in, I noticed something off in my back-end software… which led to updating a lead page… which led to rewriting some automations… which somehow landed me down a rabbit hole of fixing things I hadn’t even planned to touch that day.
Before I knew it, two hours were gone—and none of the original to-dos were done.
It was one of those classic If You Give a Mouse a Cookie kind of days—
(One of our family’s favorite books when the kids were little… and honestly, it hits a little too close to home lately.)
Life as a Solopreneur Can Feel Like an Endless Loop
When you're a solopreneur wearing all the hats—coach, content creator, marketing department, tech support—and also the one picking up from school or running your mom to appointments (gratefully, by the way—this flexibility is one of the best parts of entrepreneurship)... it’s easy to feel like everything is urgent and nothing is ever done.
And maybe you’ve had days like this too.
You sit down with good intentions, but the demands and distractions just keep multiplying.
You want to make progress, but it feels like you're constantly starting over—or like the finish line keeps moving.
If you’ve been there (or if you're living there lately), you’re not alone.
What I’ve Been Learning About Progress (This Past Year)
Here’s what I’ve been learning—and really applying—this past year:
👉🏼 You don’t need a bigger plan. You need a smaller step.
It’s easy to think small steps don’t count. But in real life?
They’re often the only way forward.
When you’re juggling a full plate, the goal isn’t to do more—it’s to choose what matters most, and make it manageable.
3 Simple Steps to Set Better Intentions This Month
If there’s something on your mind for May—a project, a new habit, a focus area—try this:
Define one thing you want to make progress on
Break it into a daily and/or weekly action
Make it small enough that you can actually follow through (think 5 minutes instead of 45)
You don’t have to overhaul everything. You just have to begin—in a way that fits your life.
This Is for You If…
You’ve got more ideas than hours
Your to-do list multiplies faster than you can check it off
You’re tired of trying to do “all the things” without a system that actually works for you
If you’re nodding along, I’d love to help.

Discover What’s Driving You: Take the Enneagram Test
Ever wonder why certain patterns keep repeating—especially when life feels chaotic?
The Enneagram has been one of the most powerful tools in my own life and business. Not because it puts you in a box—but because it helps you see the one you’ve already been living in… and grow beyond it.
If you're feeling stuck, stretched thin, or just curious about what drives your responses to stress, pressure, and planning—I’d love for you to take the new Enneagram Test I created.
✅ It’ll help you identify your dominant type
✅ Understand your core motivation
✅ And give you a starting point for self-awareness that leads to real, lasting growth

Enneagram Corner: How Each Type Can Take Small Steps
How each Enneagram type might approach small steps + setting intentions:
Type 1 – Aims to do it right. Try starting, even when it’s not perfect.
Type 2 – Often helps others first. Set one goal that’s just for you
Type 3 – Driven to succeed. Let small steps count—they do.
Type 4 – Seeks deep meaning. Anchor your action to a value or story that matters to you.
Type 5 – May overthink. Pick one action to try before researching more.
Type 6 – Craves security and certainty. Choose a step you trust—and repeat it.
Type 7 – Wants variety. Make your small step fun, flexible, or tied to a bigger reward.
Type 8 – Wants control. Let small steps build your power—without the burnout.
Type 9 – Struggles to start. Just choose one thing—and take action on it today.
No matter your type, the next small step is always a powerful one.
